A bunch of houses demoed on 20th st nw. Something starting construction?
I think this is exciting! I can't wait to have a second rink in the immediate neighbourhood! Would love for the City to take on improving/replacing the pool next.Less exciting than the downtown arena but the new arena going in beside the Stu Peppard arena in the Glenmore Athletic Park is starting to take shape.

I think they just finished Glenmore as part of the electrical repair program at all the pools.I think this is exciting! I can't wait to have a second rink in the immediate neighbourhood! Would love for the City to take on improving/replacing the pool next.
One of the arena's looks to have a pretty decent capacity. I assume it will become home to the Royals. The building is much bigger than I thought it would be.I think this is exciting! Very strange, bet this leads to increased penalties for dumping! This story doesn't make any sense to me. That the land owner is faking like he doesn't know one of his companies is illegally dumping on site? And the fact the city has zero enforcement capability is shocking.

would be interesting to see how well Farkas does with this. I lived in Toronto and while people all knew about Rob Fords’s crack, he was popular because he’d tackle these nuts and bolts problems. The zero enforcement thing is bizarre.
There's similar announcements across the country in different Liberal cities. I'm guessing it's just announcing what in it for local housing in Budget 2025./R E P E A T --MEDIA ADVISORY - FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO MAKE HOUSING ANNOUNCEMENT IN CALGARY/
