I thought there was a DP in for 3 or 4 residential towers on the Exchange site - a while ago now though. I want to say Oxford was involved ?

Oxford is a pension fund, and as I have ranted about before, pension funds are ridiculously risk adverse and always seem to miss the development cycle in Calgary, so I wouldn't expect development here for a long time. Frankly I don't know why pension funds don't just sell all of their assets in Calgary, since they only seem interested in contributing to the condo guts in Toronto and Vancouver.

I noticed fencing go up around the old blue building on 14th Street SW and 17 Ave SW. As ugly as it may be, it makes me sad to see architechture of this era be left to crumble and then demolished. I decided to take some pre-RIP photos of it:

Dave's Hot Chicken I believe. Not familiar with it, it's an American franchise.

There's actually already a Dave's Hot Chicken in Calgary, it's located in the east hills shopping complex.
There's also one of the two Chick fil-A locations in the city over there too

Was just at chick fil-A. Can’t say I was that big of a fan. Not the same as my US visits
