If only they had trees this size lining the plaza. In 20 years, if they survive.

It was weird they started this before they had the budget, that's why it took so long. Probably a good idea to just wait until you have the full budget before going forward. It would be weird to start almost any other project with only a partial budget, imagine seeing a partially finished fieldhouse.
 
No splash pad/ wading pool? Big failure in my mind. That is the type of thing to bring down more families and children. I’ll have to ride down there and check it out in person, but from pictures it seems underwhelming and disappointing.
The splash pool was usually the busiest part of the plaza.
 
Over the years of having the splash pool were there cases of e-coli or nail fungus? Just asking, as it was always popular in the summer. My kids used it a fair bit when they were younger.

Splash pools in general have had many outbreaks. Kids in diapers sitting on jets of water.
