They're doing something right beside Hanover on 6th Ave. Not exactly in the area.Where in the area have CPS relocated too? They were on 11th in Vic Park for a long time, then closed that right as the fentanyl crisis hit, heard they have a presence in the area again somewhere...
The 114-year-old Gresham Block building in Inglewood is set for demolition, according to a notice to terminate residential tenancy obtained by Postmedia from a resident.
“The demolition process at the Gresham Block Building will be starting on February 1st, 2025,” the notice states.
According to the land title for the property, Gresham Block is owned by Louson Investments, a family real estate company headed by president Justin Ryder.
Louson Investments also owns the property where the historic Western Block building once stood at the corner of 10th Avenue and 1st Street S.W.
I am very confused. This sucks. There are surface parking lots in Inglewood and the Beltline but, no, let's get rid of the buildings people actually like.
Nah this is awful all around. There's enough to complain about here that doing so doesn't make you a nimby.at the risk of sounding like a NIMBY, this building is actually part of what gives Inglewood its character and charm. It’s part of why people want to visit and live there. The loss of this building would be pretty significant.
