We will see. This crisis being so big means that we can maybe pivot in 5 years as much as it would normally take 25 years to do so. And since other places will suck almost as much, there is a lower chance of a huge brain drain.
Of course we will need a provincial government whose fiscal views aren’t most aligned with pre-depression economics where the way to rescue an economy and balance a budget was to cut government funded economic activity.
