If I lived there I would consume far too much of awful Little Caesar's Pizza
Possibly the best worst thing money can buy.

This is dreadful. And it's a huge missed opportunity. An attractive, mixed-use building here could have been the catalyst for a westward expansion of the 17th ave commercial strip. There are plenty of strip malls on the south side that could easily be redeveloped. The real challenge is bringing mixed-use development to the north side. This was probably the easiest block to convert to mixed-use.
I think I saw Brookfield signage at this property last year. Guess they sold it around the same time they sold their land in Altadore. Too bad rndsqr didn't buy both of these lots...Here’s some info on that proposal for 14th St. at Scarboro.

Boardwalk REIT is getting into the development side of things to grow their inventory.

Starting on page 10 of that document, we see the next stage of the University City complex, but it is different. Looks like Boardwalk is partnering with RioCan for a rental apartment/retail space. I don't know how many of you remember seeing the older design from RioCan, which basically looked like a clone of the existing University City towers, except a purple colour. It looks like the design is now different.

Based on the description, this one looks to be the one that the DP is in for, and hopefully starting this fall:

This differs from what RioCan shows in one of their presentations:

Boardwalk also looks to be adding to their site on Glamis Drive SW, as per page 116 of the above presentation. A DP has been submitted, but is too new to link directly to on the City's development map. Here is the rendering:

And the location:

I'l make a thread for this one. I haven't been by Brentwood Mall for a about 3 weeks, but last time I was there, I saw the area fenced off and some gear kicking around. This project might be under construction. Apparently there is drillers or pile drivers on site.
