Update from last week into the weekend on Zoo and Meadows Mile construction

Zoo Bridge, best I could do over a fence, but you can see road paving has started. I can't wait to have my back road to commuting back again!

Meadows Mile - they have been going like gangbusters on the little retail strip south of the Holiday Inn - not so little once I saw the steel going up:

Hospital Parkade, does anyone know how many levels they are going up on this new parkade?

Work continues on the Stampede grounds, the school is pretty much complete, the outdoor performance area is well underway, and they have fenced off the area where they are going to be rebuilding the church and I assume refurbishing the existing building.


Bow Valley Square, the updates are less than I was hoping for but as minor updates go they aren't bad.

I remember that 1981 view from golfing at Shaganappi as a youth.
Nova (Nexen) looks as wide as the Bow does today.

I like your avatar. I remember seeing a pic showing the original second phase of FCC. Was pretty cool from what I saw, but I can't seem to find any pics of anymore.

Drill on site for Anthem's new multi-res project in Kensington. Not sure what the name is but will add another ~100 units right off Kensington's main commercial strips. Lots of other midrise proposals for the area in the mix too.

West Eau Claire public realm improvements are well underway. West of this park the splits off to a new biking path and an u/c pedestrian pathway.
