I used to work in the area so would often walk around here on my lunch break. I remember looking it up and being surprised to find these bungalows and the ones mentioned earlier (along with quite a few others dotted around in this area) date from around the 1910s/20s. Plenty of empty space in this area prime for redevelopment - the old go kart track, the empty fenced off wasteland across from it, the abandoned construction site on 2nd.

I have not been able to pinpoint the earlier mentioned bungalows near Alyth. Where exactly are they?

There also used to be a strip right on MacLeod Trail

I'm not exactly sure of the purpose of those homes but the rectangular building at the bottom of the aerial photo was a brewery so it may have been for workers there.

By the early 1950s it was a full on community but the Macleod Tr homes were all demo'd by 1969
