Looking forward to seeing how the crown piece turns out- happy it's not another building with a flat top at least! I think this could add to the mountain-like aesthetic that 8th avenue place did. The glass looks pretty good imo!

Spandrel glass looks okay. I'm waiting to see what it looks like with more of it, but I don't mind the colors.

Personally i'd love something like Malmo's Turning Torso, would provide a bunch of uniqueness and constrast in our skyline of mostly dark coloured boxes. I don't have the photoshop skills to see what that'd look like, but it at least looks cool in my head. ?

Yeah I'm glad they went curtainwall with this one. I think it's the first curtainwall residential skyscraper in Alberta? It will be fairly decent just by virtue of that fact. It's actually not looking too terrible so far, looking forward to seeing more.

Correct , Arriva was curtain wall. Solaire was also curtain wall iirc.

Promising start

Very little window wall was used back when Arriva was built. Chocolate, Colours, Nuera, etc. Edmonton has its share of curtain wall and stucco towers roo.
