It is very dark looking, but I guess when you look at the renderings on the first page, there does appear to be a strip / section that is darker like that. The night renderings make it a bit trickier to see:

It's not going to look anything like that.

That bottom triangle is going to be 100% solid like the bottom edge, not two glazed floors.

Took a few pics of it today while out for a walk. They are adding spandrel at a good pace, and now the newest section is lighter gray. You can see the two different tones in the @MichaelS where he circled it.

Will have to take a look when I cycle by in about an hour. Excited and nervous for the glass here, very prominent corner so I hope it's done well.

Not bad to be honest, the lighter gray tone is still fairly dark. I'm feeling somewhat hopeful.

I heard the delay in delivery of the glass was because the developer changed offshore suppliers to ..... you guessed it .... take out cost! Cheap/best price seems to be this developer's 'mantra'.
For a project this size and at this late stage, that has to be risky. No??

Yeah it was a Chinese supplier, and not surprisingly, they had issues with it.

Anyone know why the crane is so high? They adding a spire? Or is it just some construction reason like the tower sections are longer on this model of tower crane

Sections of tower crane are a specific height, so to be clear of the top of building they may have had to add an extra section to be sure they have clearance. Also, there are a few more floors to go so that could be a factor.

There's still the steel structure to be installed for the crown.
