The space between the two towers should be pretty cool being that it fronts onto the park. Hopefully they get something interesting in there. With this and the Bentall tower 1st St. is dealing. Hopefully something good gets going on the NW corner of 17th ave 1st St. as well.

Thanks for the updates @IanBray , @GoVertical The colors look the same as the ones on Versus, but so far a higher ratio of glass to spandrel than on Versus.

Agreed. I see the similarity to Versus but I find this to be much more aesthetically pleasing so far. The texture of the black is nice.

When the 1st Tower got Blt they Kept a Small Bldg as Part of the Project etc. Now the 2nd Tower is on the Way Up. Was Wondering what happens to the Small Bldg.
It was to b used as an Enterance for 2 Bldgs if i understood it right Years Ago. If so it will have to Undergo a Complete Renovation to Make it Worthy.
Just Wondering.

The existing heritage building remains and will be redeveloped into a bar/restaurant. A friend who was linked to the construction project said the drawings showed that the basement will be converted into a wine bat type space. There is a space between the heritage building and new high-rise that will looks to have glazed window wall. For example, the south exterior wall of the heritage building will be an interior wall. Not sure if that space will be the entrance lobby to the high-rise or will be used as part of the heritage building bar/restaurant.

That Heritage Blg was Part of a Bigger Complex but Suffered a Big Fire in the 80s. It was the Only Part Salvaged if I am Right. Yes I Will B Interested to See what
Happens. Time Will Tell.

I remember when that basement area used to be the Crazy Horse Bar.
