It's been a while since excavation started, I imagine they just want to get it done.

Back in mid January some of the top couple rows of anchor bolts holding back the Shotcrete shoring excavation started popping out.

This is the main reason why this job is taking so long.

If I recall, the site was idle for a while around that time period, that must be have the reason. Thanks for the info Levelmind.

What do they do in the event if a delay like that? Is it covered by insurance?

From they sounds of it they are close to a crane now. Once that happens things will move along quicker.

Aug 4th is the date right now for the first crane to be set up but I think it will be the following week.

There are steel I beams behind the upper anchor bolts.

I could see how anchor bolts popping out could cause concern!
