The Hat Elbow River | 177.99m | 56s | Cidex Group | NORR

The West Village area would seem like a nice place to put some sort of museum district with a riverfront with high-end restaurants that would be really nice

In my opinion, the Hat 14th could be the last tower from Cidex for the next while. We'll find out soon enough.

I wonder if they will make a move on this one this year. Looks to still be front and center on Cidex's front page. Have we seen this render before?

The towers aren't even hiding the spandrel glass. The balconies are practical than artistic. Each of the triplets is topped with a black clad mechanical penthouse. It won't look sharp in the skyline.

Is this supposed to be a destination? What is in that podium, shops? I do not see that being appealing or successful. There is no foot traffic in this area. It is too far off 17th and even the strip on 17th north of here isn't busy. Understanding three towers of people is not nobody, I'm not sure it can support a mini mall.

The podium includes mostly structured parking if I recall correctly - it's only the ground floor that's shops and amenities.

Nothing has been heard about this one for years. That said, the same could be said for La Caille's now under-construction tower over by Caesars...

Thinking about this in the context of the Inglewood Fire Station development not going forward... Is this city owned or provincial because it is EMS? Either way, you could leave the historic building and build something interesting on the L-shaped parking lot, still allowing for the same amount of parking.

Is the podium basically just 4 floors of above grade parking? Definitely the worst part of the entire project, the towers look ok (definitely pre spandrel though lol). I'd be happy if they cut the density and did mid rise here too, then they could cut the parking down and build something that respects the street and river path.
