It’s a good density add that gets rid of a parking lot. The exterior design is a bit weird though, it looks like it’s covered in scaffolding.
If you have a good arm, you can chuck beads to those balconies 6 stories up during Marda Gras. The exterior design is a bit weird though, it looks like it’s covered in scaffolding.
How did they not lean into a faux New Orleans look... At least for this northern portion. Missed opportunity.Marda Gras
This is basically the type of design that Trinity Hills should have been filled with instead of the normal indistinguishable suburban density garbage design that they built.I get a Western 'mountain town inn' vibe from it.
I can’t really say whether it met the design brief completely.

You first need a fire to get this resultI can’t really say whether it met the design brief completely.

The loss if normal retail is unfortunate, but to me this is still an overall win. Density, plus replenished retail that’s fronting the street. The retail at the beginning will be sterile chains but that will change. The issue is a lot of the "normal retail" is being kicked out, their buildings torn down, and once finally built is replaced with sterile chains or upscale retail. You can't get "normal retail" when rent is astronomical.
And a large number of people on this forum are good with this because density is seemingly all that matters....
