Stampede Station | 270m | 69s | Truman | NORR

Brookfield Place is actually shorter than 247 metres.

Truman says they're both taller and the renderings comes across as 900 feet tall. The floor heights needed to reach 900 feet tall just don't make any sense; condo floors 15 feet tall and the ground floor would be 30 to 40 feet high?

AS+GG wouldn't be priced out of a project such as this. NORR is just family now.
Brookfield Place is 246.88m (810 feet) so basically 247m.

900' is easily possible, going by Truman's statement that both towers are taller than Brookfield Place. With 10 extra floors, even a floor height of 9 feet per floor gets you to 900 feet.

Even going by the rendering it looks to have 5 penthouse floors, and 5 double height base floors. If you do say 25 feet/floor for the 5 base floors and 15 feet/floor for the 5 penthouse floors, it leaves you with 11.6 feet per floor for the remaining 59 floors. That's not not an unusually height, and again if going by Truman's statement, the floor heights have to be at least around that height or taller.

I got this from a certain source who works at NORR back in June of 2024.

The residential floors are comparable to the ugly tower next to it. They don't look like office floor heights. The taller one could reach 900 feet. It doesn't come across as easy or likely.

I thought about other developers and how they sold tallest towers and it quickly hit me.. It doesn't go with the taller than Brookfield Place comment as Telus Sky is taller however, these proposed towers are the tallest in the city by floor count.

I've seen some plans for Brookfield. Ir wasn't 247 metres. I don't know where the internet got that number. An earlier version or a maximum allowable?

A few of us from SSP and some media folks looked at the Brookfield plans when they were first released and it was 246.9m. There was also another earlier design I saw, but wasn't public at the time and before being submitted as a DP. It was still taller than the Bow, but had one or two floors less than the current Brookfield Place. The earlier design may have been 239m, but I'm only going by memory.

A friend of mine who works with the city told me the DP was submitted today.

Can’t confirm though since I’m at work.
In the other Truman Stampede hotel thread it was posted that the DP for that one was created today. So a very good chance they did them all. How soon for stuff like that to populate on DMAP?

My bad, my insider failed me :(

No DP officially submitted. He also is a little too excited to see the plans come out.

^^^ You've lost me here. Are you saying Telus Sky is taller than Brookfield Place?

Yeah - not sure what maestro is going on about here. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m only going by Truman’s press release. Maybe they meant floor count, generally taller means height. And if that’s the case, then we could easily be looking at somewhere around 900 feet.
