Was just browsing the DMap and it looks like there is a brewery going into the old Julio's location in kensington. Permit was released Oct 4th.

A brewery in Kensington actually makes a lot of sense. It's an area that hasn't become saturated with breweries yet. Julio's is also a massive space that most independent restaurants would never be able to sustain, so a brewery seems like a good fit, and a better result than a chain restaurant.

Absolutely, and in an extremely prominent location with a rooftop patio overlooking the river and a century-old Art Deco bridge. Biiiig W on this one!

New restaurant called Pat & Betty opening next to St. James on 1st Street. It says it's a European dinette and bar, so sounds like it will be a nice addition to the already burgeoning 1st Street.

Looks great! I believe the Curryer started as a food truck, so really happy that they now have a more permanent space
