It would just tie the 2 together a bit, right now they feel so disconnected. I get your point though, would have to be a salvaged brick or something so it has some character and not just the shitty orange we see all around Vic Park.

How so? It'll get shadowed in evenings from March to early October.

Kind of. Due to the tilt of the earth, the sun only sets perfectly in the west direction on the two equinoxes. In the Winter it sets slightly south of west, so the house will get some evening light, just not a ton.

Looking pretty good so far but I wish they had extended the light brick to wrap around the building in that last photo. Bit too many materials being tried out in that section.

Turned out better than expected. Still think some of the material placement could have been more refined quite easily. Glad they dropped the red off the projected boxes.
