Financing/cash flow might be the issue for the slow progress on Irvine. Torode have put their other two development sites in Inglewood, up for sale. Apparently, development permits had been approved by the city.
 
Calgary's newest apartments, available in the summer of 2023.... ah in all seriousness it's good to finally see it start to rise.
 
But at least it's getting built. ASI has the advantage of owning land, which they could sell off if they needed to. They might have made it through the rough part if they can get those suites in The Windsor finished and get some renters.
That would be my guess. Same situation that ASI finds themselves in.
 
Some of the new marketing materials make it appear that the red sections of the building are brick, which would change my opinion on the design in a positive way. But from all the elevations and renderings it appears to be Stucco/EIS. Anyone actually know what the exterior materials are anticipated to be for this building?
