Is anyone on the thread familiar with building codes? I’m just curious about the justification/requirement for the fire wall. I had originally assumed the rationale was because the entire main floor west of the wall was going to include commercial, and that there was some sort of increase in fire risk as a result, but it looks like only a portion of the west half of the main floor will include commercial. Now I’m assuming it’s just due to the overall length of the building.
