Just wondering, does Cidex use “HAT” as an acronym? They seem to call most of their buildings Hat and even a mid-rise one on 7th, so it doesn’t seem to be design related.

I think it looks better closer up, where you can see the underside of the balconies. I don't think I dig the long expanses of black and white.

Construction of a new 28 storey, 239 unit apartment building known as 'The Hat @ 14th Street', located in Calgary's Beltline. Construction began late 2021.

Project is complete according to this government link, but they still only have pre-registration offered on the actual building's website. Any ideas when move-ins will commence? It has to be imminent here.

They are working on the sidewalks right now - probably need those to be usable to get occupancy.
