Does a truly fiscal conservative actually exist?

I hope a fiscally responsible conservative runs and wins.

So someone that looks to optimize our infrastructure investments and generate outsized new tax revenue, by locating higher density developments next to primary transit stations?

They say fiscal conservative, I hear luddite. Fiscal conservatism is probably good medicine right now, that's just not what the person running under that banner will bring. The fiscal conservatives on council voted for the event centre but against the reasonable density of Glenmore Landing and blanket rezoning.

The issue is we're still in a bizarro world, where an ethos that caring harder means getting more for less, instead of getting less for less, permeates those who believe they are fiscal conservatives.

Our state capacity, and our structures, undermine the development of the expertise to try to the same for the same, let alone more for less.

A lot of misinformation was being pushed to residents. The community association created these fake out-of-scale renderings to push the message that the towers would loom over everything.

This is ridiculous. As someone who goes to Westbrook often, you barely even notice those Intergulf-Cidex towers.
