Seafoam wouldn't be my favourite shade of green. There's too much grey spandrel in the world. The podium's grey composite panels are the most disappointing part of the tower. Some black brick would be richer and more solid. The same brick covering the blue skin up the sides of the tower would compliment the seafoam more than these light grey composite panels too.
 
Saw this from Bow Trail on the bus this morning, the black overhang/accent isn't the greatest. Would appreciate a lighter colour. The black is a bit heavy. If you're going to go dark on some parts of the buildings then go dark if you're going to go light, then go light. I do not like the contrast between the light and dark accents on this project. Probably a personal thing but that's just my preferred aesthetic.
 
Looks like we're getting a grocery store in this building after all. Sobeys also owns Safeway, so they'll have 3 stores covering all of Hillhurst/Kensington.

For a size comparison, the No Frills in WVT occupies 13,103 sq ft, the retail space for this is likely 11,590 sq ft.

If you were to tell me that the inner city would have this many new grocery stores 20 years ago I would have said that’s wildly ambitious. This is awesome!

Seems to be a new grocery strategy of smaller stores but more of them, similar to the No Frills taking up a fraction of the available space in WVT. Really positive development for urban living. Not to mention it's the discount chains which traditionally have been car access with a giant parking lot
