I'll trust the engineering on this, but you don't usually see balconies extend out that far. Overall, looks good so far.

It does seem a bit further than usual. I’m guessing it is because this is concrete. Not very often in Calgary we have concrete building for this size.

This is an 8 storey building, it has to be non-combustible construction.

Every time I look at the south side of Kensington Road between Crowchild and 14th street, I want to cry. What a great corridor it could have been if the city had a bit more foresight back then.

It’s to see a decent sized building going up in that area. Hopefully we’ll see a few more of these along Kensington Road.
