"The Calgary Flames announced today that they have acquired forward Calle Jarnkrok from the Seattle Kraken for a 2022 second-round pick (FLA), a 2023 third-round pick, and a 2024 seventh-round pick. Seattle will retain 50% of Jarnkrok's salary."

Great pickup! The boys better do some damage in the playoffs because we are quite low on picks now.
Jarnkrok's a good solid player, and is a good depth addition. It'd be nice if he could make the kind of impact Toffoli has.
It was nice watching Calgary lay the boots to the Canucks tonight. Also nice to see Vancouver that much closer to missing the playoffs.

Jarnkrok kinda reminds me of Stephan Yelle from the 2 games I've watched him so far...

It’s great to see the Flames grind out 4 straight road wins, even if 3 were non playoff teams. They need more experience at winning close games.
Some surprises of late
-Michael Stone. He looks surprisingly decent
-Trevor Lewis. I wasn’t overly happy about the Flames getting him, but I’m appreciating him more now. They’re gonna need more players like him in the playoffs.

Flames seem to have lost a bit of their edge lately. They seem to be relying on goaltending to bail them out for long stretches. Sutter better motivate them soon, or it will be another first round exit for them again.
I'm not sure what to expect from the Flames. At times they seem to dominate and can beat any team. Other times...not so much.

Johnny should be the first Flame to crack 100 points since Theo did it in 92-93, I bet it happens tonight. Tkachuk could also hit 100 points, he's sitting at 89 with 10 games left.

Hard to believe Iggy never did it when he had a couple 50 goal seasons.
Johnny's having an amazing season. Not just points, but also his +54 rating is tops in the league. He's a much better 2-way player than he was in the past.

Lets see if he can show up in the playoffs this time!
I think he'll do better in the playoffs this time, but I won't expect the top line to be scoring the way they have been. It's typical of top scorers for any team to slow down come playoffs. This is where the Toffoli's, Colemans and Lewis's will hopefully make a difference. Those kind of guys as well as our defensemen. I think our defense core is more mobile than the one in 2018, and better at getting the pucks up front for the forwards.
