Now looking at it, the Bridgland Crossing building should've had ground retail. This corridor could've been a proper main street between 1 st ave and the LRT station. Ah well, something for future developers in other areas of the City to consider, especially if there's a long-term ARP in place.

With retail going into The Bridge, 9th will have a reasonable amount on that strip, but yes, longterm, it might have been nice to see more along 9th ave. 20 years from now, it's quite possible that 1st ave will be built out, and 9th would make a great cross corridor.

I feel like Bridgeland is very close to being a destination neighborhood, it just needs some retail. On the flip side, if I lived in Bridgeland I'm not sure I'd want it to be a destination neighborhood. TBH, it has a good balance going for it right now.

Once these building projects are finished construction Bridgeland will have a great balance of low and high density.

Of all inner city neighborhoods, Bridgeland is the one that's progressed the most in the past decade. Once The Bridge and Dominion, and Era are finished it'll slow down, especially with the Bridges being filled out, but either way Bridgeland has made huge gains.

Bridgeland will slow down as far as larger developments go now that The Bridges phases are built out, but 1st ave will be the next place to see development.

Still one lot left of the Bridges not to mention that massive seniors complex going up just to the east of radius.

And Silvera getting their land use / outline plan will allow another 3-4 12 storey buildings to the east of Bridgeland Crossings.
