Bridgeland Mixed Use | 22m | 6s | Westrich Pacific | S2

I made the mistake of opening facebook for the first time in forever. Did you know that this project is the continuation of "Bridgeland going down the tubes" and by bulldozing the absolute worst block in the neighbourhood, we're going to inexcusably destroy valued local businesses that need to be protected?

I cant recall a gas station being immediately developed after demolition. Is it inferred with the DP approval that they can go ahead and build right away?
I would imagine their DP approval requires substantial environmental mitigation, removal of contaminated soil, etc but I'm sure someone with an engineering background could explain that better. It's certainly a sign they are proceeding ASAP though.

I actually really like this project, understated yet elegant and with ground floor retail as an added bonus. This style and massing is ideal for our inner city communities.
