Yep, the foundation work is for the retail plaza, but they are also going to do the park at the same time from what I've been told.

Yes, the theatres will be going into the retail portion (Block 23) The entrance will face onto University Ave.

Didn't a theatre just open up at Market Mall? Is that going to impact this project? Or are Cineplex and Landmark just going to duke it out directly?

I love everything about this development except that it's not located along 9th Ave SE just west of Fort Calgary in this spot or in this spot
I think it would work well in the space along 9th ave. Retail entrances off of 9th with resto patios fronting the park. I can see it.
