Great news on the conversion, this one could end up being the best... I think this demo will be very strategic, since I assume they're preserving the underground parking. I suspect it could take through the summer to remove the existing structure.

There's TWO missing windows! 😂 But yeah no it is under way, just really hard to get pics of it as the glass is quite dark.
 

"The iconic Transalta building at 110 - 12th Avenue SW in Calgary is set for demolition. The six-story concrete structure is expected to be taken down by the end of summer 2025. This demolition will pave the way for a new 37-storey tower that will feature 334 residential suites and three levels of parking. Stay tuned as we show the demolition progress!"

This confirms the underground parking will also be coming out. It is only two levels. No small feat as the parking structure takes up a large portion of the block. This shouldn't affect the conversion outside of leaving it with zero parking stalls until a new parking structure is completed. There is no parking under the original TransAtla building.
 
The new tower has a ramp to underground parking in the renders. So I would assume they mean 3 levels are being added under the new tower with the parking under the 80s era building being retained for the older building which is being converted to residential.
