As someone on reddit succinctly put it, it looks like a man camp on an O&G site.

Modular/prefab construction has a long ways to go if the feds are expecting it to be the solution to the housing crisis.
Alt Hotel in East Village was modular prefab and it looks great. It's not the process, it's the design, if people actually put the effort into it then it can be very successful.
