As someone on reddit succinctly put it, it looks like a man camp on an O&G site.

Modular/prefab construction has a long ways to go if the feds are expecting it to be the solution to the housing crisis.
 
Even if they staggered depths on each side by offsetting the boxes a little it would help a ton. Imagine it with a pixelated pattern. The flat box shape does look work campish. This is the housing equivalent of temporary classroom trailers at schools.

I find the modular townhomes by avalon in Seton turned out much nicer.
