Simple but very elegant. (still think it would have been better straight up and down) I hope they don't put a sign on it. It will cheapen the look.

It's not that it's short, it's that it's hidden in the skyline because of it's height. If this thing was in a more visible part of the skyline, I'd be okay with the height.
It's also a uniquely curvaceous building in Calgary...it's not something we get very often, so it would be great to have it be more prominent.

There's Telus Sky, The Bow and, Brookfield, etc. The immediate surroundings need it more than the skyline. . Just an opinion of course. Adding a lot more height would separate it from the consistent built form of its surroundings. People on the street will look at the tower at a height taller than the surrounding roof tops.
Again ... Leave this one for the urban explorers to discover. Infill deserves exceptional quality too.

I'd like to be able to see it better from the south, because when the sun is on it, it looks amazing. Adding even 6-8 floors would have been great in that regard.

I would have been fine with this one at 270 meters. It would make an incredible new tallest, and would probably be the nicest tower over 200 meters in the entire country.

Even at that height, I'd probably still take the Bow and Telus Sky first.

6 to 8 more floors is a lot less than 60 at this location.
I doubt it would work as office building though. It's pretty much at its limit when it comes to creating usable space.

The curtain wall is exceptional. It's still not enough to elevate above the Bow, Telus Sky and any of the original bank towers in Toronto.

This is really the only disappointment with the height, and why most of us would have liked to see it taller. Beautiful building that could have been more defining and transforming of the skyline. With some added height, the slenderness of the E-W angles would look great from those directions. It would look stunning coming down Bow Trail, or from St. Patrick's Island. From the N-S it would have added more shape beyond the flatness we mostly get.
As it is now, we have a hidden gem - which isn't bad either.
