Wow! I didn't know that this building existed. I've been in the CBE building across the street a few times. 
Would be great if this gets going.

A friend mentioned that his company is working on a high rise project for 8th street that he says is going to be starting construction sometime early in the new year. This is the only proposal I know of on 8th street, so we could be looking at another tower going.
There's also the 906 office conversion a block away, which will involve adding extra floors to that building.

The Vietnamese restaurant has recently closed. I assume that means there is still some traction here.

IIRC Equitable bank recently took up more space in the 906 building, so maybe not. Personally I’d rather this gets built, and later 906 gets converted.

EQ moved next door - They're in the 909 (atco) building now - they've added their logo to the lower floors of the tower.
With the businesses at the ground level leaving and EQ leaving, maybe we'll see something soon. I too would rather see this building go ahead, but the 906 conversion would be good also.
