Something just hit me when looking at the Dubai Yan towers. It was like a slap in the face. The profile reminds me of what first canadian centre tower 2 ended up looking like after we completed design with an architect from Uruguay, way back.(Intentionally left nameless). Now I will go seek therapy. I never realized it until now.

Ah, FCCP2. I worked on that wayyyyy back in the day. Was supposed to resemble wheat or a grain or something. Now I see it a bit with the other towers for sure.

The shot showing off all the towers on the west side of the downtown area really highlights how much development has occurred around there in the past decade+.
