Oh mannnn, I would LOVE for that strip of 17th avenue to be developed so fingers crossed something is happening!

When I walked by this weekend, lots of cleanup was happening, the sidewalks are almost completed, and lots of finishing touches are happening so it seems really close now.

I think my biggest issue with this one is how dark that glass is on the retail units.

From what I heard, the same group of restaurants is opening another restaurant in the space on this side. Supposedly it's supposed to be a high-end type restaurant with a grand piano and that kind of vibe. Also heard that there's an Italian restaurant set to open any time now in the bottom of...

They should do a 2.0 version of the clock tower art installation instead :P

I noticed this the last time I drove past, that sign is large and in charge. 😂

I wish there were laws or some way to deter this from happening. The fact that they're allowed to directly control the vibrancy of areas just because of greed is crazy.

That building is going up so fast. It would be so great to fill in all that space in that area still. Is that hon tower project that was proposed for that area dead then?

Right? That's why I'm not totally sold on the rumour but you never know I guess. The upside is that I think they would be one of the few places that could make that space work.

The rumour I've heard, and it's just a rumour but I've heard it from a few sources, is that it's going to be an Analog coffee.
