Interesting info related to YYC's increase in transborder stats. A lot of the increase is from connecting flights, but it also appears Calgary is seeing a rise in tourism direct to Calgary or likely Calgary/Banff...

Q2 wrapping up today, here's what's on the go for non-greenfield multi-family developments (25 units or more). A good quarter for new additions with 12 projects totaling 1613 units, while 4 projects totaling 209 units were marked completed. If there's anything I've missing let me know. U/C...

I'm only going by rumors, all of which vary, but one thing consistent in the rumors is that it's tall.

Rumors have been floating around of something in the 50 or 60 storey range, or even taller.

Just need a few small developments on the north side of 1st.

I would have expected US traffic to be down a little at least. Is this maybe due to more Americans coming here? or maybe WS closing some US routes in other cities and filtering through YYC?

Love this project. It's one of my favorite projects ion the city.

Could be a new tallest if there is some office on lower floors or depending on the crown, etc. Only 3 more sleeps to go...

My guess is probably not a new tallest as this is rumored to be hotel/residential, but it'll likely be a new tallest for a building without an office component. Welcome @uofc888

Usually I'm not a fan of replica type stuff, but I don't mind this one. It works for it's location, and to be honest it's nice to have some variety from the usual.

I'm guessing Aug/Sept 2024. The Oliver tower west looks complete, but as Calgary Tiger pointed out demo for Gallery on 10th hadn't started

The new Stampede hotel and the other Hilton in EV would make it 8. Quite a decent hotel boom for the downtown core, and it looks like another hotel announcement next week. Good times!
