Has there been any word on when the 6th Street underpass will begin construction? I would assume they would want that complete prior to the arena opening and it seems to me they are running out of time for that to be the case. I haven't seen any engagement or plans for it yet either
They started to move the tracks in preparation for construction back in april. Engagement on the project was done years back.

Hey guys!

Literally just found out this website exists this is so cool. Do any of you guys know if there are more interior renderings aside from the standard images on the Scotia Place website? I'm super intrigued as to what the concourse and whatever could potentially look like.
Nothing else has been released publicly. We're as intrigued as you are. The best we have are the development permit drawings, which show the general layout.

Features a few images. Can't seem to link them here on mobile.

I still find it hilarious that we got conned into believing the 'Community Rink' was anything but the Flames practice facility

What’s the con? The three teams, which are never all in cgy at same time, would use that rink between probably 10-2…when the world is at school and work.

I found some info regarding the upcoming experience centre for Scotia place: https://globalnews.ca/news/11588444/calgary-new-event-centre-on-time-budget-2026/
According to DeCicco, fans will get a peak behind the curtain at what to expect from Scotia Place in the new year, as CSEC is set to open the Calgary Flames Experience Centre at the Sunterra building down the street from the site.

The centre will include a model of the new building, and digital activations to show fans “what the future looks like” at Scotia Place, as well as a “red room” which will feature videos aimed at “charging up the C of Red.”
Lorenzo DeCicco, is CSEC’s chief operating officer. And I believe they mean Keynote when they say "Sunterra building." It also sounds like it'll be open to anyone who wants to take a look, which is a relief.

lol the Sunterra Building 🤣 “Grocery Store Tower”
