IMO this is a good conversion. They changed the windows but left the building pretty much as is, which is a decent boutique building. Painting the brick white would also look pretty good.

No way, keep the brick as is...it's warmth works great with the modern black windows.

Hey I love white brick (and white buildings in general) but I think this has a great balance as is, and I love the warehouse district look it's giving off. I think going white might start pushing it into clinical territory.
I'm good with it either color. I know what you mean about the clinical look.

Yeah white can look good, but we currently have many newly designed homes and buildings painted fully white in both the interior and exterior. We don't need to make every single building white.
