So, in some fucking infuriating news, according to Dmap the DP for this one has been cancelled.

Well that's extremely disappointing. This was probably the development I was most looking forward to. Not really anything to do with the design but everything to do with adding some much needed life to the dead strip of 17th Ave between the Stampede Grounds and 4th St. I think this project would have been transformative. Especially if somebody decided to mirror it on the east side with a simialr development where that old fancy French restaurant used to be.

I have a feeling this might be an administrative mistake..... There was solid action by Avi as recently as April to move this project forward.

The DP is back to "under review" status.

I take that as sign that there has been activity with the DP itself, as the mistake probably wouldn't have happened if the DP was dead.
