Truman will be launching their newest tower, Lincoln, this February. Location is 11th ave and 2nd st SW, which is the address of the Park Point II site.

There is a single rendering that came with the announcement, but it looks like just a taller version of Imperia. It might be a placeholder, or maybe they are indeed doing two imperia-style towers. Imperia shares the same block, after all.

Or, that is Imperia. That is roughly the location of where Imperia is going, Lincoln Tower just bookends the block for them.

This is perfect placement, as it will only be a block or two from one of the green line stations. According to the green line website, one subway station will be at 11 Ave and Centre St. Based on the length of a station, it could either extend to 1 St W or 1 St E as well.

Nice to see a 35 storey tower proposed instead of the 9 storey one.
It’s not that I love high rise towers to making up our urban environment, but this is the area where high rise towers work well.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rendering whenever it comes out. I get a kick out of how they show Imperia in the rendering, I guess out of town investors won't know the difference. lol.

I seem to remember an earlier iteration that was a tower similar in design to the first.

Yes, the first one, as per the dp that went to CPC, was a high rise. The , it was scaled back a few floors, but still a concrete tower. That went stale. Then qualex proposed a 6 storey wood frame and had an approved DP a couple of years ago, but it never moved forward.

It was a blessing in disguise that Qualex's Park Place II didn't go ahead. This location can support a lot more height and, more importantly, density.

Exciting to see a few new tower proposals coming forward in the past month or two. As others have mentioned, with most of the various under-construction towers now just about complete (with the exception of 4th Street Lofts), the skyline isn't going to change much in the next couple of years.
