The amount of pre-construction prep going on in the city right now is insane. It seems to be directly tied to the price of Western Canada Select, which is kind of funny but also a little sad if it's not just a coincidence.
Exciting times. There is a decent chance that 4 towers will start this summer (The Hub, Curtis Block(2), and One Tower) The Hub is very likely, and the other two are looking good.

Wow, this, One Tower, and 11th and 11th, all appear to be moving ahead. Add in 500 block and you've got a lot of rental units coming on-line to the Beltline.

The old Arby's building on the west side of this block was demo'd today. Is that related to this project ?
Over on the east side they were in the final stages of demolishing the old house in the SE portion of the site.

It is related. Word is that they are starting with two buildings, and I had assumed they would be the two buildings on the Macleod Trail side, but maybe the two will be the ones along 12th ave.

It could be the two along Macleod, but they are down by the entire podium and underground parking at once.
