It's a large space, so they might have a hard time finding someone to take it, unless they break it up into smaller sections. I haven't seen the plans, but dividing the space up might not be that easy.

Spandrel is the external material (often glass) used to cover the structural elements of the building like floor slabs and walls. So those opaque bits of the cladding are the spandrel panels.

The colours of the glass and spandrel/mullion caps compliment one another well. This could have been bad otherwise.
