A thread for that proposal at the Elbow River Casino, developed by Cidex/Aimco. One podium with three towers ranging from 46 to 56 floors. 1250 units total as per DP2017-4075. I suspect the name is a placeholder...let's hope that's the case.

178 meters?!? <3 <3 <3 :D That will be the tallest all-residential tower between Metro Vancouver and Toronto... like... on the entire continent even, if I'm not mistaken. The Austonian might be taller.

Edit: oh crap, I forgot about Chicago. Still, very impressive though. One of our top 10 being residential is pretty impressive for a city as tall as Calgary.

Geez, that's 12 floors taller than one of the Guardian towers! And three of them would almost make their own little skyline.

Yeah dude, we're talking downtown/CBD height, but in Mission!

Has anyone seen a rendering? I know it's not public, but is there one out there?

Sweet! I came on this forum expecting business as usual, what a pleasant surprise.
I hope the design is good, then we're in business. Height is definitely there. We're talking 178m. The Calgary tower is 191m for comparison. That's HUGE!
I still await the day we see something 900ft plus, but considering that won't be for a while, even the thought of this is welcome news.

There was a really old rendering, pre-financial crisis maybe? Perhaps it was just a massing. But yeah, was massive.

IIRC it was called 'Constellation' Who knows maybe they dusted off the old plans lol.

I hope they aren't married to the design, but the scale is truly something to behold. I'd love to see this go forward. What is that big blue thing floating behind it?

I'm pretty sure it's a new design. The latest DP was submitted by Norr, and that design was more of a concept design by a different architect. I actually remember seeing it on SSP, like 10 years ago.
