It doesn't quite have the same ring as "The Sea! The Sea!" but I'm pretty excited to see this one go forward anyway.

Heh, I was trying to seem sophisticated (a clever ruse). It's a reference to a peice of classical Greek literature called Anabasis. An army of Greek mercenaries fighting for a would be king of Persia, were stranded in the desert and their leaders were all killed and they had to make their way home or perish in hostile territory. "The Sea! The Sea!" was their cry of relief upon finding the Black Sea becuase they knew that where there was water there were Greeks. So "A hole! A hole!" is my cry of relief.
There's also the classical reference to Fantasy Island.....The Plane! The Plane!
