Calgary's Marda Loop area continues to buzz with activity. A year ago we reported on an up and coming project in the Marda Loop, at the time dubbed '1800'. There wasn't a lot of information on the project, and the one rendering available was a black and white rendering with little detail.

Just recently, new renderings have surfaced showing the proposal, now dubbed 'Harrison', in color and in more detail. Under development by Sarina Homes, the building's design is similar to its recently completed Avenue 33 project, also in Marda Loop. Both buildings are similar in look, scale and function. Just like Avenue 33, and COCO, another nearby project by Sarina homes, the 6 storey Harrison will have retail at the base with 4 levels of residential above with a fifth level of residential space atop sporting rooftop terraces.

Harrison will be Sarina's third project in Marda Loop in the past years, with the 67 unit project sitting along the same 33rd avenue corridor as Sarina's other two Marda Loop projects. Avenue 33 finished up just 18 months ago, and COCO finished up in late 2019. The three projects are helping shape 33rd Avenue SW.

Harrison is still in early stages, and SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
