A month since our last update, and progress at COCO by Sarina Homes has been moving along at a slow but steady pace. Over the last four weeks, more of the upper-level black accent work has been applied, as have a variety of other white and black panels, as found across the bulk of the structure.

Covered predominantly in a white stucco finish punctuated with black spandrel and black metal accents, the 4-storey COCO has been given a unique appearance. The future home of upwards of 100 people, to be spread across 76 units, the mid-rise block will bring a great deal of pedestrian vibrancy to the neighbourhood.

Located in Marda Loop, at 1602 33 Ave SW, COCO will place residents directly upon a bustling urban corridor, with good access to local shops, restaurants, and other services. Transit connections (bus) to the core will be easily accessible from this location, the area served by several major routes.

Close as well to South Calgary Park, and thus to the Marda Loop Communities Association, and the Giuffre Family Library, COCO will be well-situated for young families. Once complete, COCO will no doubt be a popular address within the region.

SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
