Nearly three months since our last update, and cladding work upon AVLI on Atlantic has made major gains as the exterior decorative paneling has arrived at last. The highly anticipated arrival has been well documented on our Forum, with readers excited to catch a glimpse of the finished product.

Recent photos showcase two different types of cladding, including large panels of white spandrel, and smaller squares of metallic plating. Designed by Sturgess Architecture for Greenview Developments, the AVLI's distinctive angles will be pronounced by a sharp, two-tone aesthetic.

Located along 9 Ave SE in Inglewood, the 7-storey AVLI on Atlantic will soon be home to upwards of 100 residents spread across 64 units. Well-suited to the neighbourhood, the inclusion of a single floor of ground-floor retail will go a long way towards enlivening the 9 Ave SE corridor.

Once complete, AVLI on Atlantic will be a fine addition to Inglewood, the project part and parcel of the neighbourhood's ongoing urban transformation.

SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
