Two months since our last update, and the first of Eisenberg's three storeys has now risen above grade. Framed by a canopy of steel beams, the retail level of the NORR Architects-designed commercial project can be clearly delineated from the street.

Located at 140 10 St NW in the heart of Kensignton, just north of the Bow and city centre, Eisenberg replaces a former low-rise storefront, which long-occupied the area. Paired with the mid-rise residential development next door, Eisenberg can be seen as part of Kensignton's ongoing urban transformation.

Set to be faced almost entirely in glass, Eisenberg will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, with two levels of office space stacked above a single storey of ground floor retail.

SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
