A month since our last update, and progress at Strategic Group's 37-storey One Tower has been moving swiftly. The most recent photos on our Forum show the tower to have risen 28 storeys above its double-height podium base, leaving less than 10 to go.
With its signature black cladding now reaching halfway up the tower, observers are now able to get a fair glimpse of the final product. To this end, the 370-unit, 331,000 sq. ft. residential high-rise will eventually be home to upwards of 500 people.
Located at the corner of 1 St SE and 10 Ave SE, One Tower will fill help the space the currently exists between Beltline and East Village. Close thus to two vibrant neighbourhoods, and within easy walking distance of the core, One Tower will be popular among urban professionals.
Once complete, One Tower will be a fine addition to the core, the project part and parcel to the city's ongoing urban transformation.
