Coming soon to Marda Loop, Mantra by Castera Properties, Groupe Denux, and Michael Shocrylas Architecture will bring 4 storeys and 33 units to this rapidly rising region of South Calgary. The timber-frame structure has topped off, and cladding has begun, it to not be long now until the project is complete.

Located on 21 St SW, just south on 33 Ave SW, Mantra will place residents within easy walking distance of the bustling 33 Ave SW corridor. The mid-rise development has been rising fast, owing largely to its timber-frame construction.

Set to be clad in a mix of variably-coloured spandrel, Mantra will have an earthy, Prairie aesthetic, complete with a cantilevered roof. Renderings of the project also show lush greenery and several trees surrounding the base of the structure.

Once complete, Mantra will be a fine addition to Marda Loop, part of South Calgary's ongoing urban transformation.
SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
