Following a series of construction delays, stops, and starts, progress at The Windsor appears to have reached its final stages. Cladding is nearing completion, the NORR Architects-designed mid-rise mixed-use project by Arlington Street Investments and Quantum Place Developments, now looking very much as it will once done.
Located at the corner of Elbow Dr SW and 50 Ave SW in Windsor Park, close to the CF Chinook Centre, and Glenmore Resevoir, The Windsor will bring mix of residential and retail to the southern suburbs. The residential component will feature 104 units, with room for upwards of 150 residents.
As for the ground floor retail component, an eclectic mix of stores soon make the project home, including Planet Organic, TO Cigar Boutique, and Blush Lanes Grocers. Part of a growing number of similar projects now going up in the and around the area, The Windsor will go a good way towards filling out the neighbourhood's local offerings.
Moving around to the other side of the project, it appears that there remains some work yet to be complete, though it will not be long before construction wraps up. Once complete, The Windsor will be a fine addition to Windsor Park.
